Leadership Mastermind Groups

Where leadership growth becomes consistent—and change become

A leadership mastermind is not a class and it’s not a workshop

It’s a facilitated growth environment where leaders slow down, think deeply, and grow together through intentional discussion, reflection, and accountability.

As a certified coach and facilitator with John Maxwell Leadership, I lead mastermind groups designed to help leaders apply what they already know, close the gap between intention and action, and grow in ways that last.

What a Mastermind Is (and Is Not)

A leadership mastermind is a facilitated growth environment designed to help leaders grow through intentional discussion, reflection, and accountability over time.

Masterminds are not one-time events—they are intentional, multi-week journeys focused on lasting leadership growth.

A mastermind is:

  • Facilitated, not taught
  • Discussion-based, not lecture-based
  • Focused on growth and application, not information alone
  • Built on trust, reflection, and accountability over time

A mastermind is not:

  • A workshop or seminar
  • A motivational talk
  • A networking group
  • A quick-hit leadership session

The goal of a mastermind is transformation over time, not immediate insight.
Participants don’t just learn leadership principles—they apply them consistently, supported by others on the same growth journey.

How Masterminds Work

Each mastermind group is intentionally designed to create:

  • A safe, confidential environment
  • Meaningful discussion and shared learning
  • Accountability that drives real change
  • Consistent growth over time

Rather than covering many topics quickly, mastermind groups go deep—often centered around a single leadership theme or book.

Participants don’t just learn leadership principles.
They wrestle with them, apply them, and grow through them together.

What Leaders Experience in a Mastermind

 Participants commonly report:

  • Greater clarity in decision-making
  • Increased self-awareness
  • Stronger leadership confidence
  • Better alignment between values and actions
  • Growth that extends beyond work into life

This is where leadership becomes personal.

Who Masterminds Are For

 Mastermind groups are ideal for:

  • Business owners and executives
  • Senior leaders and managers
  • High-capacity leaders who want more than information
  • Leaders ready to grow with intention and consistency

If workshops provide tools, masterminds help leaders use those tools consistently.

Mastermind Format

  • Small, curated groups
  • Multi-week journeys (typically 4–10 weeks)
  • Structured agendas with guided discussion
  • In-person or virtual options available

Each group is shaped by:

  • The participants
  • The leadership theme or curriculum
  • The pace required for meaningful growth

Workshop vs. Mastermind

Workshops are instructor-led sessions designed to teach leadership tools and frameworks in a short amount of time. They are ideal for gaining clarity and immediate takeaways.

Masterminds are facilitated group experiences designed for deeper discussion, accountability, and consistent growth over time. They focus on applying leadership principles in real life, not just learning them.

Why Masterminds Matter

Most leaders don’t struggle with a lack of information.
They struggle with consistency, perspective, and space to reflect.

Masterminds create that space.

They slow leaders down just enough to:

  • Think clearly
  • Be challenged appropriately
  • Grow intentionally

Growth doesn’t happen accidentally.
It happens intentionally—and together.
